Caxton Nook is a totally self contained ground floor apartment which is approached through a small patio area with private parking. There is full gas central heating throughout. This spacious apartment is part of Caxton House which is traditionally built in Lakeland stone and has been refurbished throughout during the winter months. Caxton Nook is tucked away in a quiet backwater and has all the delights of a well equipped, comfortable and cosy holiday stay.

The property comprises:

Entrance hall,
Large lounge
with log fire, colour TV and video, CD player, bookcase & books.
Breakfast kitchen with exposed beams and dining area including auto washing machine, dryer, built-in fridge and freezer, oven and hob, and microwave.
The newly fitted bathroom comprises Spa-bath, electric shower, wc and wash hand basin. There is also a basket provided with toiletries e.g. shampoo, soaps etc.
Two bedrooms, one with double bed and walk-in wardrobe and the other with full size twin pine beds.

Gas and electricity is included, all you will need to bring with you is bed linen and towels, however, if required these can be provided at an additional cost.

There will also be tea, coffee and milk left for you on arrival.

Caxton Nook is within walking distance of Windermere village (2 minutes) where there are plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants and the public transport (trains and buses) is excellent, including the open-topped bus!

There are so many places of interest, too many to mention, but there is a full information pack for you on arrival.

Bowness is 1 mile away where you can go on a ferry boat/steamer on the lake or take a steam train ride from Lakeside.
