Ardochy House Cottages comprise three traditional stone-built cottage units grouped round a cobbled courtyard, viewing south over Loch Garry and the Glengarry mountains. Converted from a Victorian shooting lodge, these properties combine a traditional atmosphere with every modern comfort. The cottages have different characters and levels of facility, ranging from the popular Shepherd’s Cottage to the more luxurious Grieve’s House. All cottages have oil fired boilers, providing hot water and central heating in season. Each has a multifuel stove or open fire (Grieve’s) and two cottages have en-suite bathrooms (Keeper’s & Grieve’s). The cottages all have a small book and CD library.

The properties are part of Ardochy House, set in 36 acres of fields and loch-shore woodlands, with free bank fishing on Loch Garry (for trout and pike). Ardochy is well situated for both touring and climbing/walking, being two miles along the Kinlochourn road (six miles from Invergarry) towards Knoydart. Inverness, Speyside & Cairngorms, Fort William & Ben Nevis, Skye, Laggan (Monarch of the Glen country!) and Kintail are within easy reach.

Shepherd’s Cottage : Two bedrooms – 1 king-sized; one twin; one bathroom (bath with shower) Comfortable sitting room with stove, TV & CD player. Spacious kitchen with dining area. Washing machine & tumble dryer, fridge freezer, microwave & electric cooker. Separate drying room. Private courtyard with furniture.

Keeper’s Cottage : Three bedrooms – 1 double, 2 twin (one on ground floor with private shower-room suitable for moderately disabled). Upstairs bedrooms en-suite. Refurbished with a traditional ambience, this has a large L-shaped sitting/dining room – with stove, TV & CD player. The kitchen has washer dryer, dishwasher, fridge & freezer, microwave & electric cooker. Garden furniture for exclusive use in the main cobbled courtyard.

Grieve’s House : Two bedrooms – family room with king-sized & single daybed, 1 twin – both with en-suite facilities. Separate full bathroom downstairs – bath with shower. Large sitting room with French doors to private lawned garden, with furniture. Open fire, TV, video (with small video library) & CD player. Spacious kitchen with dining area. Washer dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and electric cooker. Separate drying room.

Prices per week :
Prices range from:	£195 to £425
Price includes: electricity, hot water, central heating in season and starter pack of coal and logs. Linen provided, except towels.
Open all year – dogs & children welcome. No smoking within cottages.
