Farmhouse for B&B The cottages

Situated in peaceful countryside with panoramic views across the Gwendraeth Valley, Bryngwenyn Farm is just 5 miles from the M4 motorway so we are easy to reach and ideally situated for the many local attractions, castles, gardens and the beautiful beaches of the Gower. There is always plenty to do on the farm, feeding and looking after the animals, but if you canbe tempted to leave, you can take the Celtic Trail cycle path to Llanelli's coastal park, play golf, climb rocks or swim, or you can simply stay home and enjoy a relaxing country holiday, with plenty of space for children to play and many animals to cuddle and feed. We have a flock of 150 Suffolk cross ewes, a Welsh Cob and a Miniature Shetland, and two angora goats who share the orchard with the rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese and guinea fowl. We are hoping to adopt a couple of donkeys and in April we will have a Golden Guernsey Kid to bottle feed.

The farm is just ten miles from Pembrey Country Park (with it's 8 mile long, award winning beach, dry ski slope and toboggan run) and the Millennium Coastal Park. Also nearby are the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney "a garden lost in time". Swansea and the Gower Peninsula, with its picturesque beaches are just a short drive away. Other attractions include; The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Welsh Motor Sports Centre, Kidwelly Industrial Museum, Careg Cennen Castle, Dinefwr Castle and Park, Dylan Thomas Trail and Boat House, Millennium Coastal Park Celtic Trail cycle route, Ashburnham Golf Course, Gower Heritage Centre, Pembertons Chocolate factory and the Teifi Valley Narrow Gauge Railway.

The Cottages: are architect designed, and are situated just across the yard from the farmhouse and are conversions of a former barn. They are comfortably furnished and sleep up to five adults with either two or three bedrooms, they are fully equipped with an electric cooker, fridge, microwave, colour TV and video with heating by night storage. A washing machine and tumble dryer is available on site for guests to use. We can also accommodate up to 5 in each of the cottages with meals taken in the farmhouse.

The Farmhouse accommodation: comprises of an en-suite double bedroom with far reaching views over the Gwendreath Valley. It is fully equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, dressing table, hairdryer, and a colour television.
