Formerly used for cider making and stabling working horses, this thoughtfully converted 200-year old detached cottage features a wealth of splendid elm timbering, and sleeps 2-5 people, but is regrettably not suitable for the disabled. Well located on a quiet working farm (producing free range eggs) it is set well back from a single track no-through country lane, thus assuring you a tranquil holiday. Within a 25-mile radius are many attractions including Slimbridge Wildfowl &Wetlands Trust, Westonbirt Arboretum, Berkeley Castle, The Royal Forest of Dean, the Cotswolds and the historic towns and cities of Gloucester, Cheltenham and Tewkesbury.

The Cottage: is cosy and comfortable with oil-fired central heating, is open plan in design, the downstairs having a large, well-equipped kitchen/dining room with oil-fired range cooker, microwave, laundry facilities, CD/radio and sitting area. Upstairs there is a spacious bed/sitting room with king-size bed, sofa, wide screen TV and video, and views across the garden to fields; a twin-bedroom with additional pullout bed; separate bathroom/WC with shower over bath.

Outside the fenced-in, lawned garden is lined with mixed trees, and has a patio with garden furniture and barbecue, with parking for cars. The village, half a mile away, has a post office shop, Chinese takeaway/chip shop, and a pub serving meals. Public footpaths can be joined directly from the farm.
