Set within a secluded location with spectacular views over the Laugharne Estuary and Pendine Sands, yet only a short walk from the centre of Laugharne, Sir Johns Hill Farm Cottages are the perfect place for a peaceful, relaxing break away from the stresses of everyday life. Laugharne is well known as the one-time home of Dylan Thomas. It is a lovely little town with a castle, restaurants, pubs, shops, a children's park and Dylan Thomas' boathouse.

The Cottages: There are four cosy cottages, The Farmhouse, The Old Stables, Merlin Cottage and Wren Cottage. They are all comfortably furnished, have wood burning stoves, well equipped kitchens, colour TVs and videos.

Merlin Cottage sleeps 5 in a ground floor double, and a galleried bedroom with 3 single beds;

The Old Stables sleeps 5 which is all on one level, has a double bedroom and a further bedroom with bunk beds and a single bed;

Wren Cottage sleeps 2 in one double bedroom, and offers excellent views across the estuary and over towards the Gower peninsula.

The largest property;
Sir Johns Hill Farmhouse, sleeps 6 with one double en-suite, one bunk room and one single bedroom. The farmhouse also has excellent views, which can be enjoyed from all the bedrooms and the large conservatory which has both dining and sitting areas.

During the school holidays we run activity mornings on four days a week when children (and adults too!) can help with jobs around the farm, groom the donkeys and ponies, and ride the ponies. We also have regular trips down to the beach with the dogs which children seem to particularly enjoy!

Outside the school holidays we aim to make the farm a place for people to come away and relax. The views are stunning, the cottages are cosy and there is a real sense of tranquility. For those who enjoy walking there is a nature walk which runs around the lower part of Sir Johns Hill and the farm is only a short walk into the village. people are also welcome to join us on gentle rides around Laugharne on our quiet cobs.
