An area of breathtaking beauty, magic and mystery, there can surely be few places in the world to rival the islands around the west coast of Scotland. The combination of mountains and sea form a stunning backdrop, making this a perfect place for your holiday. It benefits from a mild climate warmed by the Gulf stream, and is one of the most accessible of the islands with daily ferry services from two ports. Aros boasts a 14th century castle ruin once home to the Lord of the Isles, and offers opportunities to watch the swans and otters on the river, whilst just a short distance away the village of Salen has a good selection of shops, a tea room and a pub serving food. Tobermory, also just a few miles, is the "capital" of Mull, and is a well equipped colour washed port with a splendid natural harbour and a good selection of shops, a museum, golf and fishing. Boat trips are available from Ulva and Ross of Mull to the sacred Isle of Iona, Staffa and Fingals Cave, with opportunities for whale and dolphin watching. The area is simply perfect for wildlife lovers, walkers and those interested in history; there are, however many opportunities for other leisure pursuits, for example fishing, sailing and golf, to name just a few.

Keepers Cottage, (right in the photograph) and Riverside Cottage, enjoy a beautiful location just 500m from Aros Castle, with stunning views across Aros bay. Peacefully situated along a private road, they are close to the bridge over the river Aros where fishing permits are available. They have been recently refurbished throughout, each with a secure south facing garden, and offering comfortable accommodation, perfectly situated for discovering this fascinating island. They are just 2 miles away from the nearest shop in Salen, where you can get daily provisions, there is also a pub serving food. The kitchens have a cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine / tumble dryer, and the living rooms have colour TV and stereo. There is ample parking.

Keepers Cottage: Sitting room / dining room with multi fuel stove, kitchen with breakfast area, bathroom / WC (with over bath shower). On the first floor there is a double bedroom leading to a single bedroom, and a further twin bedroom.

Riverside Cottage: All on the ground floor, with easy access for the less able, there is a sitting room with open fire, kitchen, a sun room with dining area, 2 small double bedrooms, and a bathroom / WC with over bath shower.

Corry Cottage: occupying a stunning location in 40 acres of private ground with superb views over the Sound of Mull. Recently refurbished and offering comfortable accommodation, in a secluded setting with the slopes of Beinn Chreagach Mhor rising behind the house forming an enchanting backdrop. Salen, with shops, pubs and restaurants is just 5 miles away. The property is centrally heated, and there is a sitting room / dining area with open fire, TV and stereo, which leads on to the conservatory. The kitchen is fully fitted with cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine / tumble dryer. with sitting  Also on the ground floor is a utility room with toilet. On the first floor there is a double bedroom which is en-suite, a twin bedroom and a further bathroom with WC and over bath shower. There is a secure garden with ample parking.
