Most people know two things about Inverness, it is where they speak the best English and where the Loch Ness Monster is a neighbour; but there is a lot more to the capital of the Highlands. Set between the hills and the sea and divided by the river Ness that flows six short miles from Loch Ness to the Moray Firth, Inverness has been a military, commercial and administrative centre for centuries.
An interesting combination of ancient and modern, it provides today, a wide range of amenities for residents and visitors alike. An ideal touring centre, Inverness has much to enjoy within its' boundaries. There are parks and playgrounds, fishing and golfing, leisure centre and entertainment in one of the most modern theatres in Britain.

Ness Cottage: is situated about 5 minutes walk from Eden Court theatre and 10 minutes from the city centre. The sports and leisure centre and Aqua Dome are only a short distance away and the river Ness is just across the Bught park. In the middle of the river is a group of islands which are linked by bridges, and the paths make walking a pleasure. Whin Island has an adventure playground with a miniature railway and boating pond.
The cottage is comfortable and well equipped for your convenience. The bedroom is upstairs, with twin beds, wardrobe, dressing table, chest and other accessories. All linen and towels are provided. Downstairs to the lounge which is well furnished and easy to live in and also gives access to the central heating controls and a gas fire for your comfort. The kitchen is equipped with most necessities including a 4 burner cooker, microwave oven, washing machine and dryer.
