Meare Court Farm: is a working dairy and arable farm set in the beautiful Somerset countryside. There are many walks around the farms 200 acres and also on the Quantock and Blackdown hills. The Somerset levels are nearby, an absolute haven for wildlife and the Heronry at Swell is only 2 miles away. Riding lessons at nearby stables, pony trekking on Exmoor, north and south coast visits to the towns of Lyme Regis, Exmouth, Charmouth; as well as Exeter, Bristol and Bath all within easy reach. The county town of Taunton (15 minutes drive) is well worth a visit, where you can sample the arts centre, cinema, bowling, swimming pool, museum and local restaurants.

The Farmhouse is a 17C. listed building, and the Old Mill and The Granary are 300 year old converted barns. The Old Dairy and Court Cottage are self contained cottages within the farmhouse.
The properties are regularly inspected by the English Tourism Council and hold a 3 Star rating.

The Old Dairy, sleeps 2 to 4: quiet and secluded, all on one level. One double bedroom, spacious lounge, well equipped kitchen, bathroom with wc, washbasin, bath & shower, entrance hall. Extra fold up beds available.

Court Cottage, sleeps 4 +: comfortable accommodation with views over countryside. Own parking and outdoor seating and is approached through French doors onto the kitchen/dining room, leading to hall and lounge with inglenook fireplace. Stairs from hall lead up to 1 double bedroom, 1 bunk bedded room, bathroom with wc, bath & shower. Extra fold up beds available.

The Granary, sleeps 2 to 6: over 300 years old and built of local blue stone. Beautiful views over countryside. Beamed ceilings, pine kitchen and comfortable furnishings. Upstairs is bedroom with king size bed, 1 twin bedded room and 1 bunk bedded room. Extra fold up beds available. Bathroom with wc, basin and bath with shower. Downstairs there is kitchen, large lounge, separate toilet and cloakroom.

The Old Mill, 4 bedrooms, sleeps 8+2 : over 300 years old barn conversion, formally the mill house for the farm. Tastefully converted with many original features. Oak spiral staircase leads upstairs to 4 bedrooms and a bathroom. The bedrooms are, 1 king size with en-suite facilities, 1 double, 1 twin, 1 bunk bedded. Downstairs is a spacious kitchen and dining area, with French doors leading onto a cobblestone area,  large sitting room with sofa-bed for extra guests, stable door opens to a utility room with cloakroom and large shower room with wc and basin. The Mill is fully heated.

There is also a reconstruction of an Iron Age roundhouse in the garden of Meare Court.
