Within easy reach are the famed Eden Project, Heligan and a range of the west country's finest historic houses and gardens including Saltram, Cotehele, Lanhydrock, Trerice as well as The Tate and Barbara Hepworth collections at St. Ives. The Cottages: These comfortable well appointed cottages provide an ideal base for the walking, riding, artistic, bird watching, fishing, surfing, or gardening enthusiast. Stephen and Jane Rhodes who live at North Tamerton House, will welcome you to the cottages which are set in over 2 acres of gardens, woodland and orchard in an area where deer, badgers, woodpeckers, swallows, owls and buzzards are frequently seen, and where in summer, hedgerows abound with honeysuckle and other wild flowers. The property offers a secure, child friendly environment and is perfect for family holidays. Hendra, sleeps 8, Disabled friendly: With a large open plan sitting/dining room which has French windows opening on to a private terrace. The well fitted kitchen area has a fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, also on the ground floor is a twin bedded room which has an en-suite bathroom. There are 3 further bedrooms on the first floor, (2 doubles and a bunk room ) and a bathroom. Treneglos, sleeps 5: Single storey, with a comfortable open plan sitting/ dining room and well equipped kitchen area. It has 1 double bedroom, 1 three bedded room, a bathroom and a private terrace. All of the cottages have a microwave, colour TV, video, garden furniture and BBQ. There is a shared laundry/drying room with washing machine and tumble dryer, a shared freezer, pay phone, ample parking and extensive children's play area. |
