Stour Farm is a delightful barn conversion overlooking the river Stour on the edge of Chartham village, just 3 miles from Canterbury. The village is mentioned in historical records as far back as A.D. 871. The village green is a 5 minute riverside walk from Stour Farm, where you will find some of Chartham's oldest buildings. Just beyond the green is the village shop and railway station, with services to Canterbury and Ashford (to London, Paris & Brussels) and a further 5 minute walk through the village brings you to the 13th century Artichoke Inn. There are a number of different food outlets a short distance from Chartham, where you can find traditionally cooked food. Kent has long been known as the Garden of England, and there is a multitude of attractions,  including castles, gardens, stately homes, golf courses, animal parks, museums and steam trains. Of course, Canterbury Cathedral is one of England's most popular tourist attractions, being the country's first cathedral.

The Barn Studio: is a cosy self catering unit with a twin bedroom, separate living/dining room and kitchen facilities. Furnished to a high standard with a twin bedroom and shower room/WC, it makes an ideal base for exploring the region.

Bed & Breakfast: In addition to the studio, there are 2 en-suite double bedrooms, both furnished to a high standard and having 5 Ft. beds. Each room has tea/coffee making facilities, colour TV, hair dryer and security box.
There is ample private parking and secure covered storage for bicycles.
