Set in 14 acres of meadow and woodland, high on a hill, with superb views over the surrounding countryside and peaceful waters of nearby Jennetts Reservoir, the cottages are grouped around a cobbled courtyard. There is a superb purpose built leisure complex set away from the cottages, consisting of an indoor heated swimming pool, games and fitness rooms, for your exclusive use. You will be able to enjoy the benefits of a chlorine free environment and an all year round constant water temperature of 3O°C. The pool has its own changing and WC facilities, a jet stream, a constant depth of 1.2m and a large shallow stepped end for youngsters. There is also plenty of room to simply sit, relax and admire the view. The games room is fully equipped for all age groups with table tennis, small snooker/pool table, table football, Wendy house and toddlers corner. For adults the fitness room contains a Concept II rowing machine and multi-gym.

Children can visit the goats, hens and sheep as well as two outdoor play areas, one with climbing frame, swings and slide, the other with goal posts, basketball net and swing ball. You are welcome to roam the surrounding meadows with lovely views over Jennetts Reservoir to Exmoor or walk the path through seven acres of woodland which are home to a variety of wildlife including rabbits, pheasants, partridges and buzzards. In Spring the woodland is carpeted with bluebells and the hedgerows are a riot of colourful wild flowers. There is simply masses to do in the area, in the unlikely event that you wish to leave Robin Hill, for example you can explore the miles of white sandy beaches and unspoilt coves, go cycling, walking, fishing or play golf; you can visit the numerous picturesque villages, stately homes or sample the local pubs.

The Cottages: these six cottages have been sensitively converted by local craftsmen from a fine range of lovely old stone barns. Attention to detail has created holiday cottages of rare quality, to be enjoyed throughout all seasons of the year. Each has a unique character but all are equipped to the same high standard, kitchens have integrated electric ovens and hobs, dishwashers and microwaves. The courtyard is ablaze in summer with colourful flowers and hanging baskets and each cottage has its own garden, patio, furniture and barbecue. Just off the courtyard is a small shop with full laundry facilities and pay phone. Milk and papers are delivered daily, whilst arrangements have been made with local takeaway restaurants to deliver meals directly to your cottage.
