Nestling in the heart of rural Suffolk, Windmill Lodges are the ideal place for a relaxing holiday. The lodges are set around a private fishing lake which is amply stocked with carp and tench available for you to fish. Apart from the individual secluded hot tubs on the veranda of each cabin, there is an indoor heated pool with sun bathing area.

The historic town of Framlingham is a short drive away, where you will find a fine example of a 12th Century curtain-walled castle with massive earthworks, which dominate the area. There are many excellent country pubs in the vicinity while Stonham Barns, with its "Birds of Prey" centre, Helmingham Hall deer park and gardens and Easton Farm Park are all within ten miles.
The unspoilt Suffolk Heritage coast is easily accessible. Visit Snape Maltings, with its world famous concert hall and adjacent craft shops, Aldeburgh, Dunwich and Rendlesham Forest as well as the popular Minsmere RSPB reserve. The Georgian market town of Woodbridge is just a short drive away and close to Woodbridge is the newly opened Sutton Hoo Archaeological site. Nearby Orford has a fascinating history, from medieval times to Atom bombs, and also has some interesting places to eat.
Saxtead itself is renowned for its Post Mill, next to the Village Green and the "Mill House Pub" which serves excellent meals. Both are within walking distance of your lodge. For the energetic, there is a public footpath close to the lodges and horse riding is available in the village. There is an 18-hole golf course within four miles and the area is ideal for cycling with the circular "Heart of Suffolk" cycle route just five minutes bike ride away.

The Lodges:
Each lodge is individually furnished to a high standard with its own private hot tub - perfect for sipping champagne under the stars. There is a fully fitted kitchen with microwave and dishwasher. TV, CD Player and under floor central heating are standard in each cabin and the bathrooms have both bath and shower. There is also a BBQ and outside furniture.

At present there are two cabins, the first has one bedroom, which sleeps 2/4 and has a four-poster bed.

The second is a two-bedroom cabin, sleeping 4/6, having two bathrooms.

Cots and High Chairs available on request.

Prices per week:
According to season	£175 to £480
Weekend and mid-week breaks are also available.
Prices include all electricity, gas, linen and towels, fishing and use of the pool.
