'Riverside', a spectacular 4 star
townhouse, Riverside is rather a special townhouse, in probably London's most historic area. London Docklands, close to Greenwich, Tower of London and the famous Canary Wharf. Set in a private square alongside the Thames, the owner has created a warm and inviting family home which has 4 stars from the English Tourist Council. The house is in zone 2 of the central underground network which makes getting about London very easy. As well as the underground, there are also the famous red buses, black taxis and the riverbus. As would be expected in the Capital, there are plenty of local restaurants to suit all tastes plus the nearby Billingsgate fish market ensures the best quality seafood. In the nearby Canary Wharf, there is a superb selection of specialty shops as well as plenty of local tourist attractions nearby. The house sits in a communal private square filled with mature rose bushes and trees affording the most charming of holiday locations, plus its own private parking reservation which is free. Once parked, you will not need your car for the duration of the holiday as the public transport system is by far the easiest way to move about London. The many local activities include, cycling, fishing, golf, sailing, skiing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, windsurfing and bird/ship watching on the river. There are 5 leisure clubs nearby, a marbled shopping mall, multi complex cinema and lots of restaurants.
The Property: Has an
open plan layout with full central heating. There is a dining room with
seating for 6, living area with seating for 6, kitchen with dishwasher,
freezer, fridge, hob, microwave and oven. The washing machine, clothes dryer
and ironing facilities are in the garage. There are 2 double and 2 single
bedrooms plus a cot, therefore sleeping 6/7.(The whole of the top floor is
the master bedroom with full en-suite bathroom and Jacuzzi.) The 2nd
bathroom has bath and shower plus there is another WC on the ground floor. 3
hairdryers are also provided. |
